Sandalwood Paste for scars

An effective home remedy for acne scars is a paste of sandalwood and rose water, which should be applied on the scars and left on overnight. Next morning wash off with cold water.Sandalwood is a medium sized tree with dark rough bark and beautiful green leaves making branches drooping by their weight.It is used extensively in Ayurvedic medicine to treat acne, wrinkles and scars.
To make it, add 1 teaspoon of sandalwood powder, one teaspoon of turmeric powder (which you can also find at Indian grocery stores, or your local grocery store chain in the herb/salt/spices aisle), and 1 teaspoon to water. Mix it together thoroughly, and a paste will form.
