Retin A for Brown Spots

For a few brown spots on my face i have been using Retina A .05% and Obagi Blender. It worked great but I only used it for a few short months as I saw a vast improvement. The spots faded but the skin never peeled or sloughed off. Now I notice the spots are gone but the skin there feels crusty and rough. I think using the Retin-A alone should help with that.
