Preventing Scars

1)Don't expose To Sun: not only do ultraviolet rays slow the healing process, the can discolor the scar.
2)Use an antibacterial soap to make sure the skin stays clean after the injury. Clean the wound site with warm water and the skin around it with soap and water. Keeping the wound clean while it heals helps to prevent infection and minimize scar tissue development.
3)Don't squeeze, pop, or pick at pimples. When you pick at the skin, it can cause acute inflammation and seriously damage the skin's tissue.
4)Do not scrub the wound too much
as this just irritates the skin and may tear it open further. Apply an
antibiotic cream over the wound along with a bandage. This will keep
moisture in and will help heal the wound faster and lessen the scarring.
5)For a thick, raised scar, apply silicone. Applying silicone sheeting to a completely healed scar is the best way to ensure that your scar will be as unnoticeable as possible.
6)Deep nodules or cysts often leave deep, permanent scars as the infection destroys skin tissue. Read Here for Severe Acne Treatments
