My regimen for Mild Acne.

Whiteheads and blackheads are the first stage of acne.
A whitehead has a closed mouth and the blackhead has an open mouth. The black color of blackheads is not due to dirt as some believe, but it is the oxidized sebum.
My Treatment:
I don't squeeze whiteheads And blackheads. That may leave permanent scars on the skin and also cause infection. Acne scars can be permanent.
I wash my face gently with lukewarm water and mild soap to remove excess sebum and dead skin.I choose soap that are mild or a cleanser that is soap- free, non- comedogenic, and mild like Cetaphil, Burt Bee’s or Neutrogena.
I do this twice a day. In my experience, washing affected area many times a day don't clear acne fast. That may rather further inflame the acne.
Then i apply an alcohol- free toner on my face. Astringents and toners with glycolic or alpha hydroxy acids work the best for toning the face. These acids can reduce the pore size.
I apply on my face a mild, non-comedogenic light moisturizer to keep it hydrated.
This regimen work well for my mild Acne.
Good Luck!
