Large pores and retin a

10 years ago i used retin a 0.05% for about two months,but it make my skin more oily.
Then I stopped it. And 1 year ago i tried again retin a to minimzie my pores. I wash with glycolic acid facial wash and after that put retin a 0.025%. After 3 months doing so, my pores still large and my face become more oily again. So i stopped both the cleanser and retin a. Last month i tried product containing AHA and retinol, to minimize pores. After only twice using it, my face become more oily again. I stopped again.
