Gemini Laser For Acne and Scar Prevention

Gemini Laser?

The gemini is the newest addition to laserscopes family of multi-application laser systems. The Gemini™ system can be set at the specific wavelength for treating broken capillaries, sunspots, benign skin growths, rosacea, acne, wrinkles, birthmarks, redness, ingrown hairs or shaving bumps. This system can be set to target a tiny area — to remove a benign growth or sunspot, for example — or a larger area, to erase signs of rosacea from the cheeks or broken capillaries from the legs.

Users can set the gemini for the treatment of either large areas or small spots, dialing setting appropriate to each issue and patient.

Gemini Minimize the appearance of:

- Sun damaged skin.

- Fine lines and wrinkles.

- Acne and trauma scars.

- Crow’s feet.

- Age spots.

- Aging hands.

- Blackheads and whiteheads.

- Oily skin.

- Dull skin.

- Hyper-pigmentation.

- Ingrown hairs.

- Skin glow and texture

- Congested skin, enlarged pores, and blemishes. Laser light activate your body's natural acne fighting defenses, reducing the severity of current and future breakouts.Light is delivered through the skin’s surface initiating the body’s natural bacteria fighting defenses. These defenses kill the problem causing bacteria, significantly reducing the severity of current and future breakouts.

Clinical data suggests that most patients find their acne will improve after the completion of about four treatments, two a week for two weeks. While many patients continue to improve in the months following treatment, some patients experience a plateau in their improvement. Repeated treatments may be necessary to maintain results.

No matter where treatment is performed on the body, this type of laser skin resurfacing is virtually painless, allowing patients to return to their daily lives immediately after treatment.
