Fraxel complications

by Lory
(Michigan)

I had a couple of fraxel treatments 3 months ago and have had many complications. The main one is that my skin overall seems to have a tanned appearance which gets darker a the day progresses. I talked to my derm and he told me that the laser was just healing deeply.

Post inflamatory hyperpigmentation
by: Anonymous

I think you have post inflammatory hyperpigmentation, the laser is long ago healed and that is not the cause. You might need some bleaching creams and sunblock all the time when outside.

Desonide for Fraxel hyperpigmentation
by: Anonymous

I had used the hydroquinone 4% to no avail. However, my Dr. prescribed Desonide and SERIOUSLY within 2 hours (after 1 month of redness) my skin is back to normal!
