Deep peel for acne scars

I got cystic acne about five years ago when I was 19.

My face was covered in big cyst like pimples.
Since then I have been put on various forms of medication without results.

Then, I was put on accutane. Since stopping it after four months of treatment, my skin has been clear, but I have discolored spots on my face and much deeper scars on my face and chest.

I went to a dermatologist and she's put me on Retin-A. She says I will need to use this for a few months, because she wants to see if it helps.

Also, she wants to make sure the accutane really has stopped my acne before she gives me a chemical peel.

The dermatologist says that my acne scarring in most places is deep enough that I need a deep peel. I hope for great results!
