From My experience: I was surprised by the excellent coverage the Bare Essentials mineral powder provided, superior even to cream foundation. Sun spots and age spots disappear and it takes less than a minute to apply. My only complaint is that the mineral powder does not last all day. But then again reapplication takes less than a minute.
Having a good brush is the most critical element, as well as having a good moisturizer. There is a little bit of a learning curve so give it a couple of days of practice.

My suggestions:

1. ALWAYS use moisturizer approximately 10 minutes beforehand;if you don't, the brush may feel harsh or worse, you'll get a "powdery" look!

2. Use a bit of concealer on problem areas before applying foundation;it makes it look more natural.

3. Use a kabuki brush for the best results.

4. Put less product than you think you need on the brush and tap it on the side of the container to shake off any excess. Less is more!

5. Using firm pressure, start towards the outside of the face and work your way in (to avoid using too much product on your cheeks, which looks horrible). Use the brush in a CIRCULAR motion to ensure best blending.
