Accutane and hair loss

I've just completed a five month course of Accutane.
It cleared my cystic Acne but at the cost of my hair.

My doctor told me that it's not a common effect, but it can be permanent.

I don't have hair loss before starting accutane.My hair changed in texture from straight to kinky.

I had acne for 5 years but the stress I am having from this hair loss is huge!

Now,I've decided to stop the medication and just hope my hair grows back!

The complete prescribing information for Accutane lists alopecia (absence or loss of hair), which in some cases persists- as a possible adverse reaction to Accutane treatment.

Remember: hair loss is a possible side effect of Accutane!
